At the summit of Peyreguils peak, standing at 2,701 metres, you will find the Tristaina Solar Viewpoint, an iconic monument in Andorra. Located on the border with France, it boasts stunning views of the Tristaina Lakes and the Ordino Valley. The structure itself is a large metal sphere, 25 metres in diameter, perched atop the rock, attracting numerous visitors. The views are absolutely spectacular!
This winter, enjoy a 2-hour snowshoeing adventure to the Tristaina Solar Viewpoint, guided by an expert. The journey starts from the La Coma de Arcalís area, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and hidden gems. The route is relatively easy and suitable for all levels. The price includes all the necessary equipment as well as the lift pass for the Tristaina Cable Car and the Creussans Chairlift. There is also the option to round off the experience with a sandwich menu at the end of the activity. Do not miss out on this unique experience!
OVERVIEW OF THE ACTIVITY
To reach the activity centre where the route will begin, you will first need to take the Tristaina Cable Car (included in the price). This is a six-minute journey that offers spectacular panoramic views of the valley and the ski slopes. The cable car will drop you off in the La Coma area, where the hut is located. Upon arrival, the guide will provide a brief explanation about how to use the snowshoes, safety rules, and the itinerary for the excursion.
Once equipped and ready, the whole group will ascend with the guide on the Creussans Chairlift (included in the price). From there, the snowshoeing route will begin. The hike will be taken at a leisurely pace along the snowy mountain top until we reach the Tristaina Solar Viewpoint. Here, you can climb the metal structure and take in one of the best panoramic views of the Pyrenees. After enjoying the scenery, we will begin our descent on snowshoes back to the Creussans Chairlift to return to the activity centre, marking the end of the excursion.
Meal option included: To round off the experience after your visit to the Viewpoint, you can add a menu that includes 1 hot sandwich, fries, and 1 drink.
According to the weather conditions, the guides may change the route or alter the activity for safety reasons.

The menu includes 1 hot sandwich, fries and 1 drink (water or soft drink). You can enjoy it after the activity, perfect for recharging your energy after your snowy adventure. The restaurant is located right opposite the cable car and there is no need to book a time slot. Open until 4:00 p.m..

• Essential: warm outdoor clothing, waterproof and insulated footwear, snow gloves, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
• Recommended: a small daypack with water and some snacks (like energy bars or nuts), and a hat or cap to protect your head from the cold and sun.
Yes. It is essential to book online in advance, as spaces are limited. Once you have made your reservation, you will receive your confirmation voucher via email. Please make sure to print it out to present on the day of the activity.
The excursion starts from the activity centre in La Coma, in Ordino-Arcalís. Your booking voucher will include full instructions on how to get there and where to collect your access cable car passes. It is important to arrive at the cable car at 10:00 a.m., as the adventure begins at 10:30 a.m..
To gift a guided snowshoeing tour to the Viewpoint voucher, you can either make a regular online booking and mention the recipient's name and details in the "Comments" section, or you can purchase a Gift Card for any amount you wish.
In the exceptional event that the activity centre must close due to adverse weather conditions, one of the following options will be offered:
- Rescheduling the activity for another date.
- Replacing it with another activity available on the same day.
- Issuing a voucher for the full amount of the booking, valid for one year for this or any other activity.
Cancellations by the customer: if the cancellation request is made more than 72 hours before the start of the activity and for a justified reason, a 20% fee will apply. If the request is made less than 72 hours before the activity begins, the fee will be 100%.
